On a deeper level, this quote could be interpreted as a reflection on what is truly "important" in life. Here, the prospector is someone who, throughout the segment, has been shown to be in tune with nature, diligent, and seemingly at peace with his solitary existence. The statement might reflect a concept that material possessions, like the gold he's been mining or even his own physical body, are not what's most important. Instead, it suggests a resilience of spirit, an undying will to live, and perhaps an implicit understanding that life's true value isn't in physical wealth or even physical well-being alone, but in something more intangible.

Can remember seeing them on Use Your Illusion Tour and all the rock n roll of the band were gone. Matt Sorum's stupid overproduced drums, the band lost all the swagger they had. Back in 87 and 88 the band you saw would never of dreamt of having backing singers and string arrangements. Guns n Roses were the most important band of the moment, but the moment was gone. Axl Rose sprinting around in spandex had nothing to do with rock n roll.

What a bumch of BS, he was awful on this tour. Read the stories about what he did in Denver on 9/19/92, just a month after the Montreal riot he was entirely responsible for. Read the stories from Metallica's crew when they opened up their monitors and found most of them blown out, causing the vast majority of the sound issues. Metallica wiped the floor with them on this tour. Wasnt even close.

That fitness gizmo sounds so cool. When you think of how much time, energy, money is wasted on gym, not only the exerting time but also travel to gym, endless showering, changing gym gear then out into other clothes and general stuffing around with gym and fitness. Oh, and we haven't even touched on the high cost of doing gym, not to mention all the pollution and planet harm it causes, as those gym machines like treadmills require fossil burning fuels that generate electricity to run them. So, for those 'Save The Planet' freaks who are also such gym fanatics, there a flaw in your rationality. You really do need to figure out where this obvious logical discrepancy is. In other words, put your money where your mouth is. You don't save the planet by doing daily electricity powered gym work outs. Maybe if you only used your own bodily energy to get fit. But, why on earth would you waste your rnergy doing such worthless, unproductive fitness? When you could get even fitter, slimmer still, by doing real, PRODUCTIVE hard physical work? To make money, produce something of real value for others? And also get fit yourself. Unless your career involves being a top athlete, gym is a total waste. And, even top athletes train without any gym. They just get moving, have the necessary self discipline to do whatever they must t o get into peak performance condition anywhere, even with no gear to train on.

I can relate to the bit about trying to cope with work as well as doing mental health therapy, as I was ordered to by my then employer. It was just too hard to cope with trying to do quality work AND also the cope with the demands such therapy imposed, plus extra hours of daily commuting to do it, on top of hours of my normal work commute I did. So I had to drop one. As I needed the money, I dropped the therapy, which did nothing, anyway. I then lost my job because I wasn't like the rest of the workplace clones there and it bothered them to have any real 'diversity' working among them. And I had stopped the therapy 'help' ???My total life unravelling, divorce then poverty followed. But, ironically, despite all this stress and real hardships, my mental health improved incredibly. I ascribe this to being away from the toxicity of conformist mainstream workplaces and how damaging this is to the lives of anybody who is in any way different, though harmless and often very good at what they do and has much of value to offer society, which is wasted. Ah well, it's society's loss, not mine..'I adapt, therefore I am' is my life motto. Phoenix rises from the ashes of its destruction. Just keep working harder, faster, more... Pay more taxes. You'll be paying OUR government pensions for the rest of YOUR lives, since you found our workplace presence too hard to tolerate, because some of us are different from you. Enjoy slaving away, like we try to make the most of the social stigma enforced Dole Bludgeing. AKA Discrimmination, denial of Equal Opportunity, or some such PC type bullshit. I'm over it and couldn't give a shit about such workplace complaints as sexual harassment etc any more now. I endured far worse workplace abuse and survived. It's really hard for me to give a shit now about such complaints. Such experiences that don't kill you toughen you up mentally. So who needs to waste time and money, energy etc on useless, worthless therapy? When the root of the problem is not within YOU, but outside you. The way society and workplaces etc now are. They create mental health issues, often deliberately, where there previously were none. There are political correctness driven explanations for this, too complex to detail here.Relating to money, greed, corruption etc.

I love Nirvana but also Guns and obviously guns first when my dad bought me AFD cassette while on a boat to Ireland when about 8/9 and I chose it simply coz the album cover looked cool and I couldn't believe it when I heard it before it was MJ, NKOTB, Jason Donavon 😂 then heard AFD guitar music forever more. It's wrong when people say Nirvana got rid of Guns, they got rid of alot of silly hairbands but so did guns who weren't a hair band, Guns was massive at the same time as Nirvana. Guns destroyed themselves!!

One of my theories is Axl was hugely influenced by The Stones tour in 1981. If you watch the concert film “Let’s Spend The Night Together” and check out Jagger’s wardrobe and that stage set up - it has a lot of similarities to what Axl was going for; Jagger in designer outfits and spandex pants running across these huge stages with ramps. Axl has said in interviews too he got a chance to observe Jagger on the Steel Wheels tour and see how he conducted his onstage and offstage business. Long rambling theory but yeah Stones ‘81! 😝

I saw this band on the 'Appetite for Destruction' tour, when they opened for Aerosmith. One of the best concerts. EVER. I didn't bother seeing them on 'Use Your Illusion' (loved the albums), because they didn't need that production! A stage, some lights, the music, give Slash his guitar solo/blues jam, and Axl is pretty much a human special effect all on his own. I can see why the rest of the band had split, back then. It was so much better when the videos told the story, and the band would just play the songs when they went on tour.

I had to wait 23 years to see them in Brazil, but of course, it was not the same. Plus, the second concert in Argentina was the last one of that era...
